She, unfortunately, did not have the best start in life. She was removed from her home after it was discovered that her former owner was regularly beating her. Even though she didn't have the greatest start in life, she loves people once she gets to know them. She has some arthritis in her rear legs, but it doesn't stop her. She is very energetic and loves to play fetch with a ball or play with stuffed animals. Winnie must be in a home with no other pets and older children would be best. Her temporary home has been in a kennel for the past year. Even though she is well cared for & loved by the kennel staff, she desperately needs to be in a home.
