Posh is an incredibly beautiful girl inside and out. She is extremely loving to all her human foster family which includes 2 adults and 2 kids. She gets along with other dogs. Posh has had a couple of tinkle accidents in the home and one poop, but she does go potty outside every time she goes out. I believe she is just trying to get the program figured out.
She does not care for the other dogs to be around her when she is eating, but she has no problem with watching them eat. She is learning to sit for her cookies. She is very very smart and loving...did I say that already? My human kids have already started asking if she can stay. However, since we already have four of our own, plus 3 cats, this is just not possible until I get a farm.
Posh is VERY curious about cats. She has not by any means tried to bite them but she does chase and sniff and sniff.
Posh loves to run like a Nascar driver drives. Fast and crazy. She also has really taken to Milo our white Shar-Pei. They play like they are puppies. I know Posh will make an excellent companion for the right family.
Posh loves to give her foster mommy huggies. She will stand slightly up on her back paws and wait for me to bend/squat and she just wraps her loving paws around my shoulders. Usually followed up with an "I love you kissy."
UPDATE: Miss Posh is truly a gem! She is an active, curious creature with the best smile. She loves her foster family (except Daisy her foster sister). She is clumsy yet agile. She runs like the wind (especially when outside right before she goes poop). She doesn't care much for the rain but goes out and does her business anyway. She doesn't mess around. She has also mastered consistently going potty outside. She has figured out how to breathe heavily on her foster parents sleeping faces at night to wake them up. She will also walk to you then the door and if ignored she picks up the speed. What a hoot!
As far as our cats and her they co-habitate. She still gets slapped regularly and keeps on sniffing. She has snapped at them but has never hurt them. She does sleep in the room with us and the cats and she is not up the entire night sniffing for them like she did in the beginning. Whew! |
