Everyone! My name is Amber and I am an absolutely beautiful blonde Retriever/SharPei
mix. I love to play and run and chew my bone. I am incredibly smart. My foster mommy says so all the time. She tells me to get my bone before I come in the house and I run and get it. I also love when she gives me icecubes and pieces of veggies for snacks. I think I like them better than cookies but not her homemade cookies they are the best. I think I could like a brother or sister dog. I so want to play with my foster siblings they just don't want to play with me. I think they are too old for my playfulness. Oh! They have cats here too. I am really curious about them and they keep running. Except this one cat he stands his ground and lets me think it is okay to sniff and play then....WHAM! I get slapped. It doesn't hurt though. My foster mommy just keeps saying "you're lucky Amber, he doesn't have nails." She pretty much keeps the cats in her room. I love to have my belly rubbed. I am having troubles holding my "sit" for a spell when all I want is to roll on my back and get rubs on my belly. I also love the little people here. They are great snugglers in the morning. I like to sneak in and cuddle with them at night too. I am looking for a forever home or so they keep telling me. I have interviewed a family or two and I thought I had one and they changed their minds. My foster mommy just keeps saying how sorry she is that it didn't work out for me. She just assures me that it just wasn't meant to be. When it is we will all know because it will feel real. Did I mention I also love to ride in cars!
